Would you like to know how to prevent problems in young horses and discover new ways to have fun with your horse?
Don't forget that the lecture/ demo on 'Preventing problems in young horses and how to have Fun with your horse' is taking place THIS Saturday the 16th June from 2 pm to 5 pm at Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary, just outside Antrim. The lecture demo is presented by Dr Helen Spence, equine behaviour and training consultant (for further information on Helen see the website http://www.helenspencehorsesense.co.uk) and costs £20. All profits go to the sanctuary, and this is a fantastic opportunity to see at first hand the valuable work done with Northern Ireland's needy equines at the sanctuary and to help raise funds for a very worthy cause. You will also gain insight into how horses learn and the best way to work with youngsters in order to produce calm and confident horses. The sanctuary are providing refreshments so please contact Helen on 07773 157428 before Friday tea time in order to confirm attendance.
Please bring your own folding chair if you wish to sit down as I am not sure that the sanctuary will have enough chairs available! The lecture/ demo will take place in the indoor arena so don't worry about the weather. Parking is on the road outside the sanctuary.
Directions: from Junction 6 on the M2. Coming from Belfast exit at junction 6 and take the 3rd exit off the roundabout, this is the Rathbeg Road. Coming from the north exit the M2 at junction 6 and take the 1st exit, the Rathbeg Road. Go to the end of the Rathbeg Road and turn right, then take the 2nd road on the left.
