Hi Everyone
We have another round of courses coming up in September in Co Kildare with Vanessa Bee of www.positivehorsemanship.com .
7th/8th September '21st Century Horse'
This is going to be a great course for anyone who is having specific problems with spookiness, traffic shyness and any problem handling horses associated with getting them to adjust to 21st Century life, including worming, injections, hoofcare, etc. You can bring your horse on the course and work with Vanessa on your own issues or just come along and learn how to
help your horse be happier about 'unnatural' intrusions.
9th/10th September Basic Skills to Positive Horsemanship 1 (groundwork)
This 2-day course focuses on interacting with the horse on the ground. You will learn the messages that you give to your horse using your body language and how to interact in a positive way. Many people who have been on previous courses have said that this course has been great for building confidence and strengthening the relationship with their horses.
11th/12th September Basic Skills to Positive Horsemanship 2 (ridden work)
This course can only be taken when Basic Skills to Positive Horsemanship 1 has been completed. In this module you will learn how to relate the groundwork techniques to ridden work. This is not a course that will teach you to ride from scratch but it will help you become a better more sensitive rider with tips and skills to help you and your horse to travel smoothly along together. There is no pressure to do more than you are comfortable with.
If anyone is interested, please email me direct: lyndacroft@eircom.net. Don't delay because they are nearly booked up already.
be well
