Hi everyone
As you will see elsewhere in the forum, Vanessa Bee of www.positivehorsemanship.com, came to my yard near Naas, Co Kildare, in March to give a groundwork course on Positive Horsemanship. It was extremely well received. Here are some comments from the participants:
"Thank you so much for a terrific two days......... The course was really excellent, Vanessa was wonderful, creating such a positive environment."
"Just to say that I had a wonderful time on the course last Sun/Mon. It really gave me a lift and when I tried some of the skills learnt on one of the horses here it worked really well."
"I really enjoyed the course. It was more than I expected and I learned so much from it. I would definitely be very interested in further courses."
"I thoroughly enjoyed it and it has opened my eyes to a whole new way of working with horses. The course was most enjoyable - instructive, interesting and a great learning experience. Vanessa has a wonderful way of sharing her experiences and knowledge and very insightful (with both people and horses)."
I can't wait to do some more training and Vanessa has very kindly agreed to come again to continue the courses. They will again be held at our home near Naas, Co Kildare. Here are the dates for the courses that we will be running in May:
20th/21st May Basic Skills to Positive Horsemanship 1 (groundwork)
22nd/23rd May Basic Skills to Positive Horsemanship 2 (ridden work)
24th/25th May Using a Round Pen Constructively
