What is the difference between 'giving your horse confidence' and 'teaching your horse to be brave.'I would normally say I'd 'give my horse confidence' instead of the words 'teaching my horse to be brave.' BUT.. words are just a reflection of who your mind is working. First you think a certain way, then you find the words to describe how you're thinking, then to perform the action. So how would 'thinking' 'I'm gonna give my horse confidence' give you a different result to thinking 'I'm gonna teach my horse to be brave.' ;D Thought it'd be a nice brain teaser for a monday morning!

when one teaches the horse to be brave, that is to accept, that which would , frighten him or to pose a threat to his safety , by creating situations in which the horse can learn how to deal with these situations you are giving him the tools by which he can find a solution. the resulting condition could be described as confidence, it is important that they learn how to solve problems

The way you think affects the way you see, hear, feel, speak and thus experience.
For example two people seeing the same object could draw two very different pictures of their interpretations of that object. The same story can effect peoples emotions differently............. one might laugh where another will frown thus causing different feelings. etc etc
The world exists in our minds, without remembrance would the world exist? Change our thought process and the world around us changes.
The way we think is the way we speak and every horse nieghs or whinnys differently, has a slightly different body langauge, reacts differently to what we may ask of their mind, emotions and or physical been. The biological mechanics of each mind are wired slightly. Each horse you meet teaches you something different, allow you to experience a different view point.
In my head the art of horse.man.ship is causing two minds to have one thought.

Both sentences are more or less the same thing said in different ways. Similar results can be achieved by different methods. Both sentences are going in the same direction but taking different roads.
