' Introductory Clicker Training Workshop '
Saturday 20th October, 10am to 4.30pm, Richill. N. Ireland.
Be a Better Horse Trainer with Clicker Training (Helen Spense)
Would you like to improve your training skills and have fun with your horse?
On Saturday 20th October you will get the opportunity to do just that if you attend the Introductory Clicker Training Workshop. Not only will you improve your understanding of how horses learn and hone your regular training skills, but you will also be introduced to the precise, low stress, high reward method of training using the clicker. This is a fun method of training for horse and handler alike, and can be integrated, with care, into your normal day to day work with your horse. Reward based training is invaluable when producing a calm, confident horse, and can be used with great success when dealing with a variety of common problems and for training new skills. It is particularly useful when working with young horses and the training philosophy can be applied from the first handling steps through backing and training and beyond. The workshop will be in Richill from 10am to 4.30pm. You do not need a horse to attend, although some horse spaces will be available. Places are limited so please contact me on 07773 157428 for further information and a booking form. All completed bookings must be received by Friday 12th October.
