Just like to introduce myself:
I'm new to the whole Natural Horsemanship culture. I've been riding 30 years, hunting, racing, showjumping and was introduced to the Buck Brannaman/Ray Hunt style of horsemanship this year-wow.

Hello THERE,
I notice your "name" is Welsh girl. Are you from Wales and now living in Ireland?
So glad you have found things natural.
I have watched Ray Hunt quite a bit in the states. His ridden clinics are wonderful. I thought his colt starting clinics were awesome but not for the faint hearted!! It was kinda fast n furious but those participating were highly competent and the horses felt very secure.
I have not seen Buck yet but I beleive he's amazing.
Welcome to the journey.

Hi and thanks for the welcome
Yes I'm Welsh now living in Ireland since 2003 and I brought some neddies over with me too!
I have all of Bucks DVDs, and I visited a ranch in USA that teaches his style of horsemanship.
My horses are all doing well at the groundwork and I'm hoping to find other like minded people here in Ireland.

hello there Welshgirl
You are so lucky to have brought your horses with you. What are they like?I have travelled a lot which has been great as i have been able to learn from a lot of wonderful people but the downside is I've had to sell a horse i loved each time we moved country.
I am in near Donabate. Feel free to pop by if you are near the area.

I'm new also
I just discovered and signed in to this website, and am happy to have found it!
So I thought I'll introduce myself as well: Anya is my name, I live in Moycullen, co. Galway, where I just started on my Alexander Technique studies. I've got two wonderful cobs that has been with me for respectively one and two years. I used to ride dressage, but since I discovered alternative ways to go about my horsemanship I have gradually abandoned it (at least in the classical sense of the word - i'm still on top of my horse, in the arena, trying to make the best of it) and now spend my time learning about the HORSE... and how he sees me ;o) As I come from Norway I have usually travelled there for clinics, and have taken most of my inspiration from Leslie Desmond and her students. If there is anyone around the galway area they're more than welcome to drop in!
Anya
