So I decided last weekend to introduce Mia to some trotting poles while working out in the arena. I placed one on either side of the long end. i just wanted to let her explore the polls, sniff, push, do whatever, its no big deal, right! Life totally down Laura (it works so amazingly well, we love you for it!) Well boy did i get a suprise! she LOVES the polls! like big time loves them! she thinks jumping them is the best thing since carrots and apples! We made a game out of it, I'd run along beside her, no line just freely, and we'd both jump them, she thought it was so fantastic! I'm so happy as jumping is what i really really love doing, and I can see this being a fine start to her jumping career! yay!! Here's a shot I managed to get of her jumping one of the poles. they're raised about 6 inches off the ground sitting on piled up sand, but i can see her jumping 6 feet someday! www.flickr.com/photos/bobbicotter/2234905317/Yay!!
