These horses & donkeys need help urgently.
They are on a farm in France and will eventually be shipped to Italy for slaughter if they are not saved. Some of them may only have a few days before they are shipped to Italy.
At least one horse has been offered a home by Fiona at www.towerhillstables.com but she can only afford £100/€130 towards a horse so desperately needs donations to help her buy one of these horses and pay for it's transport to the UK. Her feed bills are approx. £4k per month so she cannot afford to buy a horse herself.
Several other horses/donkeys have also been offered homes by sanctuaries in the UK but again, the problem is there is no money to help them.
Can anybody donate? Even a few euros will help them. Or indeed if you wanted to buy yourself a horse/donkey there are loads to choose from, even foals and youngsters and in-foal mares as well as an old stallion that if gelded would make a nice companion and another old mare that is suitable for light riding or a companion. These 2 are the most in danger because of their age.

It costs approx. €400 + the price of the horse/donkey to transport the horse to the UK/Ireland and the horse/donkey is delivered to your stables/land by the transporter.
