My pony Melody is a strawberry roan Welsh section-A and I think shes wonderful because when she was a foal she was abused and kept in a garage in Central London, until an Animal Cruelty officer found her and loads of other foals in there. Then she was bought by the owner of a disabled riding school called PollHill Riding School and even though she had been through all that she still made an excellent riding school pony even for children with disablilities. After PollHill closed down my mum bought her for me as a birthday present because she worked at PollHill and new Melody really well. Even though shes really cheeky (hard to catch, drags to grass) shes a really sweet pony. I did family pony classes with her, showjumping up to 2ft6 which was really good for her because shes only 11.1hh and a little chubby. Shes also really good at cross-country, gymkanas and in-hand classes. Now shes nearly 22 years old and I've nearly completely outgrown her but I'll never sell her because shes really special to me.
