Awarded on June 24th 2007, for outstanding work promoting gentle methods of handling and training horses, and for giving Willow her beautiful bay horse with a heart of gold, a second chance.
"Willow was previously sent to stud, but aborted her foal late and twisted her pelvis. I have had her treated by an osteopath and am now working her in walk and trot on the straight to even up her quarters. She was hard to catch but is now recognising that we are nice and it's a good thing to let someone approach her with a headcollar! She is good to box and shoe. I am hoping to re-school her as a bombproof first horse."
Willow is a pleasure to handle and train, and is a great example of how behind every great horse is a great teacher - Lilly ;D
