Last year Flynne came accross a small scabby bag of bones that was most obviously not going to live much longer, he was skeletal and full of worms and lice. She took him under her wing with the idea of re homing him and I said I'd take him. He was roughly 14hh and we think then about a year and a half, it was not sure that he would make it as he spent most of his time lying down in his new luxurious straw bed and the rest of the time eating..
Well a year and a half later we have kissed the frog and turned him into a prince! He is about 3 now we reckon as he has shelled his first teeth, and is now standing at 16hh and growing! I think he will make 17hh. We have no knowledge of his past before us but was obviously well handled (although not well fed), he is a sports horse type, with good bone. I am broken hearted to part with him but have to as I am leaving the country. My main concern is finding him good people to live with.
He is very quiet and easy to handle, although he has not been backed will let you sit on him while lying down and trusts people to the last so it will be a very natural progression to have him riding. He gets on with all other horses, is not aggressive and is very playfull.
Give me a bell if you think you would like louis to join your herd, he really is a pleasure to have around the place... Lisa 0851404320
Going to get a good photo up soon...

What a lovely story! I can't imagine being in a position to take him any time soon I'm afraid, but I'm sure somebody will continue to give him the care he deserves
