Freezemarking is a safe, humane & distinctive way of protecting your horse from theft. The freezemark Ireland mark is unique to your horse & makes him instantly identifiable.
It's a painless procedure (unlike hot branding, hoof marking or lip tattooing) using super chilled markers to a clipped area on the horse. This process kills the pigment cells in the hair which re-grow white within a few weeks. Light coloured animals can also be marked succesfully using the same method but producing a bald mark, which is usually placed on the shoulder.
