Thanks to everyone for their help with the Ponies bound for the slaughter, I had an amazing response and I am delighted to see how much you all care about horses welfare!
The latest update is that the man who owns the ponies didn't realize he had to micro chip them so it is turning out to be not so profitable for him after all so we are in talks with him at the moment waiting to see what he decides. He has the option of turning them out where there is near a thousand acres of comonage, which is decent enough grazing ground so they would cost nothing for the winter, selling them to us or to the factory where he is going to get 50€ a head max after paying for books and transport...
