Hi just thought I'd post this in case others locally might be interested in coming along (with or without horse). The cahp is Dermot McCourt and he does a great session on hoof health and care and gives some pointers on looking after the hooves yourself or at least asking the farrier the right questions. He'll demonstrate a few trims - horse and donkey.
Its at my house in Derrylin and is on Tuesday 20th from 11am until lunch. I'll provide a wee lunch for folks and if you want to have him trim just let me know. The cost is £5 towrds lunch and talk and then the cost of the trim if you have it done.
