mare donkey wanted

Hi was wondering if anyone has thoughts on using a mature female donkey as a companion to a 9 month old filly foal? Indeed would anyone have one for sale, that has had contact with horses? I can't offer much in terms of money but promise a great home and as much attention as I give my Ruby.
I live in Fermanagh but am willing to go get her.
