Absolutely brilliant video showing that barefoot is no limit to what you and your horse can do together without the need for shoes. Well done, let's get the message out there!

You can't take a horse, take off the shoes and ride her lots of miles. The horses hooves need lots of time to get used being without shoes. Most horses are kept in small fields and this doesn't let the hooves be the same as the wild horses hooves.

That is so true koshka6. Sarah is a Trimmer who studied barefoot when having problems with her own endurance horse Fari. Here's a link to her site... www.performancebarefoot.co.uk/I've personally learned that enabling a horse to have good, strong feet is a huge learning curve about diet, management, conditioning etc. etc. I've made changes to the way I keep and feed my horses to improve their overall wellbeing. I've learned that learning about feet forces you to look holistically at the needs of horses rather than what we think they need. I'm not talking here about not using shoes I'm talking about improving the fitness of horses in general by learning more about their requirements. Here's a link to an American Farrier who is imo really good at explaining this thinking and research. www.hoofrehab.com/index.htm

I take pics of the hooves and when I look at the photos I check any mistakes that I did or anything else I need to do. I'm not really impressed about my results because I never saw a good horse with good hooves, I've only seen good hooves on photos. After I started learning about the hooves, I started seeing how bad the horses hooves are when they have shoes. The Ferrier takes 50/60 euro for his work and he does it really bad. Thank you for the links. I have all materials of Pete Ramey and I read everything. I also know 'Adam Till (There's No Such Thing as a Toe Rocker)', 'Ove Lind (Natural hoof shape)', 'Paige Poss' and 'Chrisann Ware'...
