Hi guys, just looking for some more of your words of wisdom! our new little colt foal is doing well and thanks to Sean we have got to grips with the feeding issue but we'd like some advice on needle phobia. He got microchipped first off - he wasn't crazy about that - then he got his first vaccination and I think the memory of the microchip scarred him and he was all over the place then today he had his part 2 of the vaccination and was terrified - I must say our vet is very quiet and patient but poor Bob was really frightened and fell over backwards in his attempt to get away - the vet took his time and even though he was nearly trampled on in the proceedings eventually he managed it - I don't want him to get needle phobic so how do you think I can overcome his fear? even the vet says he is not nasty just frightened - he spent a while with him after just rubbing him and talking to him - thanks guys
