In January this year (2009) myself and a friend Liz rescued a pony. She was in a bad way. Dehydrated, emaciated and tired. Her feet were so badly over grown we didnt even know she had shoes on her them until the farrier came to treat her. We could see nearly every bone in her body and her eyes told a sorry tale of rejection and cruelty.
Over the course of the last 9 months, loads of TLC and some good summer grass, she looks like a different animal, moves like a different animal and has the sweetest temperament. She is willing and tries so hard to please all the time.
As a 3/4 year old it's time for her to be brought on to make someone a really nice riding or driving pony. We have very little history on her but believe she has done some trotting work due to being shod.
We need a nice, kind, patient, friendly but most important, long term home for this little lady. Someone who is willing to put the time and effort in and bring out the potential we know is there. This is not a sale, we are not looking to re-coup any monies, but we need the right home with someone who has the right skills to give her a good start.
If you require any further information or think you may be interested in giving her a good home please feel free to PM me or e-mail kimleedouglas@gmail.com

Hi all, just to add that this little lady is currently around 14.1 and will prob make just under 15 hh. She is black with a little white bit smudge on her face just over her eyes. She loves people and will jump a cross pole loose following my daughter for an apple. We have had a saddle on her and over the next couple of weeks will get her backed. As above she has had a rocky start in life but its amazing what a couple of months of tlc will do and she has just thrived. She will make somebody very happy. If I didn't have my Jack I would love to have her tomorrow. So a long term home is what this lady deserves - thanks
Liz x
