Since buying Ed 4 years ago he's been on his own, a situation I was never happy with but owning another horse was impractical. Last week however a friend approached me looking for a good home for a yearling donkey stallion. I thought perfect field mate for Ed and brought him home. Now, at present he is sweet natured and friendly but totally un-touched.My question is, in order to keep him well behaved can I use all the basic NH groundwork or is there something inately different about donkeys? Has anyone any experience? Any advice would be much appreciated! Liam

Hi Liam,
I have a donkey too but haven't got around to doing the games with him yet so I'd be interested to see how you get on. I was at a Parelli clinic last year and at the demos there were mules doing all the games and they were just brill!
You'll haev to post a few photos!
