Hi All Hope all is well with everyone and horses... Just a quick question about vaccinations for horses, do they need to get a booster every year or what's the standard practice ? Cheers, Mo

Not sure about standard practice as I don't show so mine only have tetanus not flu. I book tetanus every two years but I believe many do yearly. One UK vet told me every two years was enough but better check with your own vet. Sorry I can't be more help.

In recent times I have read a few reports which suggest that vaccinations are not necessary every year and that vets should be looking at this practice.... Personally I think there is room for great debate on this subject...
